As per the activity plan 2019 for the centre for Gender Equity and Equality of UvaWellassa University, a capacity building workshop was conducted from January 3 to 5, 2020 at the university premises. An awareness program on ‘gender equity and equality’ was conducted on the first day of the three days’ workshop. Parallel training sessions were conducted after the initial awareness workshop under the themes of Creative Concept Development and Short Film Productionand Creative Concept Development and Performing Art for the selected students of the university with the participation of eleven resource personals from Visual and Performing Art University and Sri Palee Campus, University of Colombo on January 4 and 5, 2020under the same capacity building workshop. The resource personals participated for the capacity building workshopunder the themes of Creative Concept Development and Short Film Productionand Creative Concept Development and Performing Art are as follows
