The team “Aquatic Resources Technology” representing the Aquatic Resources Technology Degree Programme of  Uva wellassa University  won the 2^nd place in IOBSL Inter University Biology Challenge 2020 under the theme of “Sustainable solutions to face the challenges of the COVID-l9 crisis and beyond”. The competition was organized by the Institute of Biology Sri Lanka (IOBSL). The winning team comprised of four undergraduates; Ms. W.M.J.Chethana Tissera-Team leader (4t^h year), Ms. G.A.J. Sandamali (4^th year), Ms. W.M.P. Umanga Weerasingha (3^rd year) and Mr.H.M. Sasindu Wijerathne(2^nd year) of Aquatic Resources Technology Degree Programme.
