Students are facilitated to refer e-resources relevant to their academic activities and also they can submit their assignments to the relevant courses online using the V.

UWU- Public sector Partnership for Economic Development

In an era of 4th industrial revolution, we firmly believe that the SMEs and related other sectors should be strengthened to take pride in economic development in the country. Understanding this necessity, Uva Provincial Council (UPC) and Uva Wellassa University (UWU) arranged an interactive program to discuss matters related to SMEs and related other sectors’ development on 25h August 2020. All the distinguished officials from UWU (Vice Chancellor, Deans of the faculties, Heads of the Departments, Directors of the units, cells and committees) and UPC (Secretaries of Uva Provincial Ministries, Directors and Commissioners from other government offices and Departments) participated in this event. The program was held at the Uva Wellassa University premises with a sponsorship of Chrysalis and this event was graced by the Hon. Governor, Mr. Raja Kollure, as the chief guest. Moreover, potential sectors to be developed with the collaborative contribution of UWU and public sector were identified. A workplan was developed to address the economic problems of the Uva Province and a steering committee was appointed to carry out the workplan. An attractive recreational and networking session was held at the end of the program to strengthen the link between UWU and Public Sector.
