Virtual Learning System or in general, Learning Management System (LMS) is one of the web applications used by the university for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of e-learning education. Students are facilitated to refer e-resources relevant to their academic activities and also they can submit their assignments to the relevant courses online using the V.

Technical Assistant (Contract basis)

Applications are called for the post of Technical Assistant (Contract Basis) , a short-term research project funded by the University capital grant of the Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka.

Project Title: Data Mining Based Study to Analyze Passenger Transportation in Uva Province

Duration: 03 months

Eligibility Requirement:

A four/ three-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
Skills and prior experience in the field of data mining, data science, or machine learning.
Sound knowledge in statistics (data analysis) will be an added advantage.

Payment: Rs. 30,000.00 per month fixed salary.

Mode of selection: Short-listed candidates will be called for an interview at the Faculty of Technological Studies, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka.
