Research Symposium 2014

Uva Wellassa University is planning to hold its fifth Research Symposium on December 11 and 12, 2014 at the University premises under the theme of “Value Addition for Sustainable Development”.
Extended abstracts are invited in the field of:
• Animal Science
• Aquatic Resources and Technology
• Export Agriculture
• Tea Technology and Value Addition
• Palm & Latex Technology and Value Addition
• Science and Technology
• Mineral Resources Technology
• Computer Science and Technology
• Industrial Information Technology
• Entrepreneurship and Management
• Hospitality, Tourism, and Events Management

To be presented at the symposium, all extended abstracts will be peer-reviewed for acceptance. The abstracts finalized by the November 24, 2014 will appear in the proceedings.

• Deadline to receive extended abstracts – October 17, 2014
• Notification of acceptance of extended abstracts – November 07, 2014
• Deadline to submit the final version of abstracts – November 24, 2014
• Deadline for early registration – November 24, 2014
• Deadline for registration for presenters – November 02, 2014
• Deadline for registration – December 08, 2014
