Mr. A.N.R. Weerawansha, Lecturer (Probationary) attached to the Department of Export Agriculture of Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka was awarded the Session Best Paper in the International Science Congress held at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. International Science Congress was held from 02nd of October to 06th of October 2017 and it was organized by International Multi-disciplinary Research Foundation in collaboration with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Mr. Weerawansha received this award for his paper titled “Identification of Plant Hoppers and Leafhoppers on Coconut Palms Affected by Weligama Coconut Leaf Wilt Disease (WCLWD) in the Matara District, Sri Lanka”.
