Senate Approved any Other Qualifications – BBM (External) Degree Program

Senate approved any other qualifications for enrollment to the Bachelor of Business Management General (External) Degree Program – 3rd intake.

1.    At least two passes in all three approved subjects at the G.C.E. A/L (in any stream) in one sitting

And

2.    Successfully completed/ achieved any of the following requirements

  1. The Vocational (Special) Teachers’ Certificate of the Sri Lanka Department of Education.
  2. Passed the first and the second examinations of the course leading to the Diploma in Commerce of the Sri Lanka Technical College.
  3. Passed the first and the second examinations of the course leading to the Diploma in Accountancy of the Sri Lanka Technical College.
  4. Passed the first, the second and the third examinations conducted by CIMA (London) or the Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants.
  5. Passed the intermediate examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
  6. Associate membership of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries, London.
  7. Passed the final examination of the Sri Lanka Bankers’ Institute.
  8. Associate membership of the London Institute of Bankers.
  9. A Diploma in Business Studies awarded by a former junior University or a recognized Poly technical Institute.
  10. Completed three-year service as a commissioned officer of a permanent unit of the Sri Lanka Army, Navy or Air Force. Or Completed three-year service as an Inspector of Police-Sri Lanka.
  11. An officer in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service who has passed in the examination for recruitment to Class III of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service.
  12. Certificate in Business Studies of the Sri Lanka Technical College.
  13. Membership of the Association of Company and Commercial Accountants of the United Kingdom.
  14. Diploma of the Institute of Work Study Practitioners, England.
  15. Associate Membership of the Institute of Management of Britain.
  16. Passed all sections of the examination of the Institute of Administrative Accounting, London.
  17. Passed the Book-keepers’ Advanced Certificate in Commerce of the Sri Lanka Technical College or of the Poly technical Institute of the Ministry of Education.
  18. Joined the government Accountants’ Service on passing the Sri Lanka Government Accountants’ Final Examination.
  19. An officer of the Management Service of the Ministry of Public Administration, on having passed the examinations conducted by the Commissioner of Examinations for recruitment to that service.
  20. Passed the Book-keepers’ Higher Certificate of the London Chamber of Commerce.
  21. Passed the Advanced National Diploma in Management of the Open University of Sri Lanka.
  22. Membership of the Accountants’ Technical Institute in Sri Lanka.
  23. More than 5 years’ work experience at executive level of Management in Government or reputed private sector.
  24. Any other relevant Diploma equal to SLQL 03 which comparable to NVQ level 5

Any other relevant Higher Diploma equal to SLQL 04 which comparable to NVQ level 6
