A research group attached to Department of Export Agriculture, Faculty of Animal Science and Export Agriculture; Uva Wellassa University has secured a research grant on “Investigating the mosquito repellent properties of major chemical compositions of cashew nut shell oil”, we intent to recruit one Research Assistant and the required qualifications are as follows:
Educational and other Qualifications:

Job responsibilities:
- Competent in data analysis techniques (both qualitative and quantitative)
- Fluent in academic writings
- Preparing the progress reports on every month
- Reporting the progress of the project to the internal supervisors, on weekly basis
- Conduct project administrations on daily basis
Salary Particulars:
The Research Assistant will be paid approximately Rs. 63,250.00 (all-inclusive salary) per month for one year period.
Benefits:
Selected candidates for the mentioned position will contribute 8% from their monthly salary to the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) while the AHEAD/UBL Cell grant will make a contribution of 15% of their salary of which 12% will be credited to Employee Provident Fund (EPF) and 3% to the Employee Trust Fund (ETF).
