Ms. K.P.G.K.P. Guruge, Lecturer (Probationary) attached to the Department of Animal Science of Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka won the “Best Overall Presenter” award at the “International Conference of Fisheries and Aquaculture- (ICFA)-2016” organized by the International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM). The event was held at Hotel Goldi Sand, Negombo, Sri Lanka, from 24th to 25th August 2016. She received this award for her paper titled “Vertical distribution and diversity of molluscs in intertidal habitats of Pigeon Island National Park, Trincomalee, Sri Lanka”.
