The Eighth General Convocation of UWU was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on the 11th of August, 2018.In total, Degrees were conferred to 523 graduands, comprising of 222 Bachelor’s degrees on graduands under five unique degree programmes from the Faculty of Animal Science and Export Agriculture, 199 graduands with Bachelor’s degree from the faculty of Science and Technology under four Degree programmes and 102 Bachelor’s degrees under two degree programmes from the Faculty of Management.
