Virtual Learning System or in general, Learning Management System (LMS) is one of the web applications used by the university for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of e-learning education. Students are facilitated to refer e-resources relevant to their academic activities and also they can submit their assignments to the relevant courses online using the V.

UWU EXPO 2022

The Faculty of Applied Sciences of Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka (UWU) is organizing UWU EXPO 2022 with the aims of establishing strong university-industry relationships to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful professional, scientific, and industrial career.

UWU EXPO 2022 is sponsored by the AHEAD World Bank Project and organized in association with University Business Linkage Cell (UBL), Audio-Visual Unit (AVU) of UWU, TRACE and Uva Startup Hub (USH).

The goal of UWU EXPO 2022 is to bring the university, industry and the community of the Uva Province together.

Chief Guest

The Chief Guest of the event is Professor Ranjith Senaratne, Chairman of the National Science Foundation.

He is a distinguish Senior Professor of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. He has held several senior administrative positions with distinction for a period of over 20 years, including the posts of Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Vice-Chancellor, University of Ruhuna, Chairman of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors, Chairman of the Ocean University and Vice-Chairman, University Grants Commission.
