Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka received the Bronze Award for the Annual Report and Accounts 2020 under the University category at the Annual Conference and Best Annual Report Award Ceremony – 2022 organized by the public finance wing of the Institute of Charted Accountants (CA), Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka (APFASL). The awarding ceremony was held on the theme “Transforming the Public Sector for Economic Revival” at the BMICH on December 2nd 2022, which was graced by Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe , Central Bank Governor and the other famed guests at the event were  Mr. Priyantha Mayadunne, the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs Provincial Council and Local Government, Mr. Mahinda Siriwardana Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. Sanjaya Bandara, President of CA, Mr V. Kanagasabathy  President of APFASL,  Dr Asela Atapattu and CA Sri Lanka CEO Dulani Fernando.
