Department of Information and Communication Technology, Faculty of Technological  Studies, Uva Wellassa University invites applications from potential candidates for the post of  Temporary Demonstrator in the field of Computing.

Qualifications 

1. Candidates should possess an Honours Degree in the field of computing or a General Degree  with a Class in the field of computing, obtained from a recognized university (priority will be  given to the honours degree holders).

2. Candidates should have good knowledge of computer programming, data structures and  algorithms, web development, object-oriented programming, computer networking, database  management systems, data modeling, Ubuntu operating system and object-oriented analysis & designs.

3. Having knowledge of WordPress and Photoshop will be an advantage.

Mode of Selection 

Interested candidates should forward their Curriculum Vitae together with a cover letter, and  all the scanned copies of the relevant academic certificates and transcripts to the department  email (dict@uwu.ac.lk) as one single PDF file on or before February 10, 2023, and the  original copies of the certificates should be produced at the interview. The subject of the  email should be “Post Applied for the Temporary Demonstrator”.
