Achievement of Ms.S.P.N.P. Subasinghe and Mr. R.C. Prasad

Ms. S.P.N.P. Subasinghe and Mr. R.C. Prasad have won the awards for The Most Creative Narrated Article and The Most Scientific Article respectively at “TRACTATE 2020”,the International Article Writing Competition on “Health Security through Food in the Light of COVID-19” which was organized by the Association of Food Science and Technology, University of Sri Jayawardanapura.

The competition was open to national and international undergraduates. This competition was conducted to celebrate World’s Food Day -2020. Over 150 worldwide undergraduates were participated for the competition and from that 9 articles were selected under several categories.

Ms. S.P.N.P. Subasinghe (UWU/EAG/16/050) and Mr. R.C. Prasad (UWU/EAG/16/052) are 4th year students who are doing Food Processing Technology as their majoring in Department of Export Agriculture, Faculty of Animal Science and Export Agriculture, Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka.
