UWU Entrepreneurs’ Day Competition
 

Biz 2020, UWU Entrepreneurs’ Day Competition has been organized by Department of Management Sciences, Faculty of Management, Uva Wellassa University under the Activity 03 AHEAD Department Project. The focus of the competition is to encourage undergraduates to develop viable business ideas while sculpturing the entrepreneurship and Management knowledge in the context. There are three competitions has been organized under the Biz 2020. They are;

• Business Plan Competition – 23^th July 2020
• New Product Development Competition – 23^th July 2020
• Inter University Quiz Competition – 24^th July 2020

Participants:

• Business Plan Competition -

Open for the Entrepreneurship and Management Degree, Uva Wellassa University

• New Product Development Competition –

Open for the Undergraduate Uva Wellassa University

• Inter University Quiz Competition –

Open for the Management Faculty students from any university in Sri Lanka

Mode of Conducting: Online (via Zoom)

Objectives:

• To encourage undergraduates to identify the viable business opportunities in the market and suggest new business ideas and products/service
• To demonstrate the knowledge in new product development and business plan development
• To inspire undergraduates to develop and commercialize the new product development proposal and business plan
• To sculpture the knowledge on emergence trends in entrepreneurship and management
