Department of Food Science & Technology is the latest addition to FASEA. In light of the unique curriculum volume of food science related courses, dedicated laboratories, a satisfactory number of exclusively allocated staff and the potential for further expansion into new thematic study areas and postgraduate degree programmes, FASEA believes that this is the high time to establish a new department entity in the discipline of Food Science and Technology.
Setting up of a new department for Food Science and Technology will facilitate, the expansion of new Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate degree programmes under the FASEA, which will expand the scopes of the Uva Wellassa University.
